New partnership with Figma to bring your Make prototypes into Figma Design
Back at Config 2025, we demoed how html.to.design can bring generated ideas from Figma Make directly into Figma Design. Little did we know, this talk was just the beginning of an even stronger partnership between Figma and ‹div›RIOTS…
We’re excited to announce that Figma has purchased the ‹div›RIOTS technology that turns webpages into Figma designs. This technology is primarily used today in the plugins: html.to.design, code.to.design and story.to.design. This is an exciting step in our partnership and for Figma users worldwide, as our “HTML-to-Figma engine” continues to grow and boost design workflows.
How will Figma use our technology?
Figma has just launched the ability to bring your Figma Make creations directly to the canvas. With our engine, it’ll be even faster to go from Figma Make to Figma Design.
What does this mean for html.to.design and other ‹div›RIOTS plugins?
html.to.design and all ‹div›RIOTS plugins will still be operated by us - independently, and we’ll continue to develop and improve html.to.design for all current and new subscribers. We still have a lot in store for the Figma community!
“Thanks to this partnership our technology will continue to grow, as we accelerate innovation on html.to.design and our other plugins.” - Georges Gomes (‹div›RIOTS CEO)
‹div›RIOTS has been a longtime partner to Figma, consistently building tools that empower the design community, and that commitment isn’t changing. We’re proud that our technology can power new initiatives like this one, and excited to see where it goes next.
