Introducing Remove Objects

Figma is increasingly being used for more than just designing screens. And it’s greatly thanks to plugins that designers can now do pretty much everything in Figma, from editing and manipulating images to creating cool effects and animation.

This is why, at ‹div›RIOTS, we’ve been working on a new image-editing plugin to make it much easier to manipulate images directly in Figma, without any additional tools.

Introducing… Remove Objects!

What is Remove Objects?

Remove Objects is a Figma plugin that completely erases any object from any image, right in your Figma canvas. It’s a fast and accurate way to make undesired elements disappear from your photos in Figma!

How does it work?

Select the image you want to edit and run the Remove Objects plugin.
Choose your brush size and paint over the object you want to remove. For best results, paint outside the object’s edges.
Click ‘Remove Objects’ ✨
You’ll get the same image with the undesired object(s) gone!

Why did we make it?

After seeing the success of our previous plugin, Remove Background, we knew there was a need for more image-editing plugins in Figma. Designers want to do everything in a single tool, and Figma is becoming a go-to place for more and more design teams of every scale and level. At ‹div›RIOTS, we think it’s important to continue to bring innovation and additional functionality to Figma in the form of quality, high-performing plugins.
